Learn About KESWIN Publishing's Commitment to Christchurch
The 2010 and 2011 earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand had a huge impact on us. As a result, we made a commitment to publish books that documented the city's transformative journey. These books also document our journey, as we have lifelong ties to the city.
- Deb Donnell's Cafe Reflections: Christchurch City 1975-2012, published in 2012. This shares the story of the Christchurch CBD over the year, and how the earthquakes impacted on the Community.
- RESPONDERS: The NZ Volunteer Response Teams Christchurch Earthquake Deployments, co-authored by Pete Seager and Deb Donnell, published 2013. This book documents the journey taken by trained urban search and rescue volunteers. They were deployed to assist the emergency services and New Zealand Defence Forces with the search, rescue and recovery after the earthquakes.
- Christchurch: Then and Now Series. This is released bi-annually. Each edition provides a pictorial comparison of the city's journey from pre-earthquake to rebuild.
We are committed to helping the rebuild and recovery of Christchurch. Therefore, all of our design, typesetting and printing work for the Christchurch books is carried out locally.
Our Christchurch books are available for purchase on our website. They are also distributed to book and tourism retailers throughout New Zealand. Furthermore, all other titles can be purchased from our website or through selected online distribution channels.
